Dr. Kamran Mirshahi, D.C., M.S. Human Anatomy/Physiology Instruction, is a chiropractor who teaches part-time at Ithaca College. He has a personal passion for local community outreach in Tompkins County. Dr. Kam is a runner who specializes in movement therapy, functional exercises, and athletic performance. He has experience both in coaching and treating athletes in running, swimming, cycling, basketball, hockey, baseball, volleyball, skiing, snowboarding, and nordic skiing.
Megan Bell Mirshahi, L.Ac., MSACM is an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. During her 3-year, 9-trimester program, she has had over 525 hands-on clinical hours spent interviewing and treating patients. Additionally, she completed a 3-week intensive training in Hangzhou, China at the Zhejiang Province Hospital during April 2018. During this time she observed both inpatient and outpatient acupuncture, tui na, and Chinese (herbal) medicine for oncology, neurology, and gynecology. She is particularly passionate about combining acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat mental-emotional conditions and women’s health issues, including infertility, painful menstruation, and difficult menopause transitions.
